From the WWE Rumor Mill: Triple H on-screen return timeline possibly revealed
What’s the story?
As reported by Cagesideseats, the majority of prominent Wrestlemania storylines are likely to commence after the Elimination Chamber PPV.
In accordance with the aforementioned speculation, Triple H is said to likely make his on-screen return on WWE RAW after the Elimination Chamber. Besides, the initial plans for Triple H’s Wrestlemania 34 feud seem to have changed as well.
In case you didn’t know…
Triple H has been busy with his obligations as an executive in the WWE, and hasn’t performed in any of the WWE’s ongoing television storylines since the RAW after Survivor Series 2017.
Nevertheless, the belief is that Triple H will indeed be involved in a top storyline, in the lead-up to Wrestlemania 34.
The heart of the matter
Triple H was initially rumored to be set for a feud with Kurt Angle that culminates at Wrestlemania 34, however, following Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut at last month’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, talk of Triple H & Stephanie McMahon vs. Rousey & The Rock gained steam—although the matchup wasn’t confirmed by the WWE.
The vast majority of professional wrestling industry experts now believe that the WWE plans on bringing light to several major Wrestlemania storylines, after the Elimination Chamber PPV is done with.
Furthermore, Triple H may be set to make his return to WWE’s television programming—likely Monday Night RAW—after the Elimination Chamber PPV. The WWE also seems to have other plans for Triple H at Wrestlemania; as opposed to the aforementioned feuds with Angle, and Rousey & The Rock respectively.
The WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on February 25th.
The following night’s RAW (February 26th, 2018) takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California—an episode where fans can expect Triple H to make his TV comeback on RAW.
Honestly speaking, the WWE seems to have come up with a great strategy of maintaining an air of suspense around Wrestlemania 34’s top storylines—given that the show of shows takes place in April.
However, the WWE may have to work tremendously hard to come up with a noteworthy feud for HHH at ‘Mania. Who’d you like to see the King of Kings face at Wrestlemania 34? Sound off in the comments!
