What's the story?
Bryan Alvarez has speculated on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Triple H is slated to face Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble and will go on to face Braun Stowman at Wrestlemania.
In case you didn't know...
Triple H recently returned to WWE on the Survivor Series go-home edition of Monday Night Raw and announced himself as the final member of the RAW traditional elimination team by replacing Kurt Angle's "son" Jason Jordon.
At Survivor Series, Triple H was the final survivor for RAW, along with Braun Strowman as they were able to defeat Team Smackdown. Triple H, however, pedigreed Kurt angle (who was his own teammate) which led to Kurt's elimination.
This has resulted in speculation that Kurt Angle and Triple H will be having a feud with each other soon.
After the Survivor Series match ended, In another surprising twist, Braun went on to powerslam Triple H twice.
The heart of the matter
Triple H was out of action ever since WrestleMania in April and it seems that the Game is back for good as of now.
Kurt Angle, the RAW GM, has been having trouble with the Raw Commissioner, Stephanie McMahon as of late and with Triple H by her side, and it looks like things are going to get even more intense.
It was being predicted earlier that an angle involving Stephanie and Triple H against Kurt Angle and Shane could be in the works for Wrestlemania but according to recent speculation, it seems as though we might get a one-on-one match between Kurt Angle and Triple H at Royal Rumble; and a match between The Game and Braun could be in the works for next year's Wrestlemania.
What's next?
It looks like Triple H will have his plate full after Survivor Series. Not only does he have to deal with an angry Kurt Angle, but also Strowman who seems to have Triple H as his next target.
It is possible that Kurt Angle will have to go up against the King of Kings in order to retain his position as the GM of RAW even though he managed to lead Team RAW to Victory against Team Smackdown at Survivor Series.

I think it is a great idea to have Triple H face Kurt at Royal Rumble instead of WrestleMania as both these veterans could help younger talent by putting them over at Wrestlemania.
Braun could get a huge rub from working a program with Triple H and a win over The Game could do wonders for his career.
