From the WWE Rumor Mill: Two potential matches for WWE Tables Ladders & Chairs

TLC
Tables Ladders & Chairs is the next pay-per-view for the Monday Night Raw brand

What's the story?

At the time of writing this article, the only match on the card for WWE Tables Ladders & Chairs for October 22nd is the Raw Women's Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio hints at two other matches that could take place at this pay per view.

In case you didn't know...

The Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view began in 2009 were D-Generation X made history.

Shawn Michaels and Triple H defeated Chris Jericho and The Big Show in the main event to become the unified WWE Tag Team Champions. It was the first time the longtime duo ever won tag gold.

The heart of the matter

Meltzer believes that a six-man tag reuniting The Shield will occur when Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, & Seth Rollins take on Cesaro, Sheamus, and The Miz. He also stated that the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match will include the champion Enzo Amore taking on a newcomer to the division in Kalisto.

The six-man tag comes together thanks to Cesaro and Sheamus delivering a cheap attack on the Raw Tag Team Champions after Braun Strowman laid them to waste to open Raw this week. Roman Reigns and The Miz have feuded since No Mercy, including the Miztourage and Miz laying Reigns out with a steel chair last week.

Then there was the end of Raw that everyone is talking about -

The Cruiserweight Division closed Raw for a second straight week, and Enzo got another piece of paper that says anyone that lays a hand on him would be fired.

As the entire division was on the ring apron, Kurt Angle came out and said that those rules don't apply to the newest member of the Cruiserweight Division, Kalisto.

What's next?

Expect the WWE to announce these matches soon after the WWE finishes up with Hell In A Cell for the SmackDown Live brand this weekend.

Tables Ladders & Chairs will take place two weeks from Sunday from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Author's take

While I'm a little excited to see Kalisto in the Cruiserweight Division where he belonged in the first place, the end of Raw was completely GLORIOUS! (Sorry Bobby Roode...)

The WWE Universe has begged for The Shield reunion for a long time, and it appears that we may finally get it in a couple of weeks at TLC. The way they did the end of Raw with nobody saying a word was perfect, and you could tell the crowd loved it as well.
