What’s the story?

According to Ringside News, WWE legend Kevin Nash is expected to make his return at Raw’s 25th-anniversary show despite his knee surgery. Nash had recently undergone yet another surgery which made the fans wonder whether he will return for the show or not.

In case you did not know…

Kevin Nash recently shared a gruesome picture from his knee surgery in which he showed off 24 staples. Nash had also noted that he was eager to get back into training.

‘Big Daddy Cool’ is currently semi-retired from professional wrestling. His last appearance for WWE came back in WrestleMania 31 where he interfered in the match between Sting and Triple H to unsuccessfully aid Sting.

The heart of the matter

The report suggests that Nash would appear for the 25th Anniversary show of Monday Night Raw even though he is currently recovering from his latest knee surgery. Apart from Nash, WWE is planning to bring in many other big names for the show that includes the Undertaker.

What’s next?

The 25th Anniversary show of Monday Night Raw is scheduled to take place on 22nd January 2018 at the Barclays Center in New York. Names like Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and Ric Flair are reportedly set to appear for the show and WWE rumours suggest that the company is also in talks with Goldberg.

Author’s take

Nash might not be a huge name like Undertaker or Shawn Michaels but he does have a cult status in the wrestling business. The history of Monday Night Raw would not be complete without Nash as he was a prominent figure during the Monday Night Wars between WWE and WCW.

He deserves to get some limelight on the Anniversary show and WWE would probably think in a similar way. However, it should be seen whether his knee would come back to haunt him again.
