What’s the Story?

WWE has promoted the attendance of several Hall of Famers and Legends for the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw and there are still more wrestlers scheduled to appear.

In Case You Didn’t Know

The 25th Anniversary of Raw will take place in two weeks and will emanate from both the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York and the Manhattan Center in New York City on January 22nd.

 The Heart of the Matter

PWInsider reports that WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase and Sean Waltman are expected to appear on the 25th Anniversary show.

Waltman’s last WWE appearance was back in 2015 at WrestleMania 31 when D-Generation X and the nWo clashed in the match between Triple H and Sting.

DiBiase’s last appearance for WWE was on the Old School Raw episode in 2014 where he along with IRS and Nikola Volkoff encountered Big E during a backstage segment.

The following are the full list of WWE legends and Hall of Famers announced for the Raw 25th Anniversary:

Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Undertaker
Ted DiBiase
Ric Flair
Jim Ross
Jerry Lawler
Kevin Nash
Scott Hall
Sean Waltman
The Bella Twins
JBL & Ron Simmons (APA)
The Dudley Boyz
Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The New Age Outlaws (D-Generation X)

Many of the WWE Legends are expected to appear at the Manhattan Center, the birthplace of Raw following the end of Primetime Wrestling.

 What’s Next?

The report also said that more legends are expected to return which could mean superstars like The Rock, Trish Stratus, or any of the former WWE wrestlers.

The only match announced for the 25th Anniversary of Raw is the Intercontinental Championship match between Roman Reigns and The Miz.

Author’s Take

Great to hear that The Million Dollar Man and the 1-2-3 Kid are expected to return. The only question that remains is will Waltman appear with D-Generation X as X-Pac or with the nWo as Syxx?
