According to WrestleZone, the WWE 24 episode for Goldberg is set to air this November on the WWE Network.

He went on to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2016, where he defeated The Beast Incarnate in a whopping 1 minute and 26 seconds. They had their next physical confrontation at the Royal Rumble where Goldberg eliminated Lesnar seconds within their confrontation.

They had their blow-off match at WrestleMania 33 for the Universal Championship, where Brock Lesnar finally got his revenge, winning the Universal Championship in the process.

The next night on RAW, he addressed the WWE Universe, saying goodbye, but not forever.

The heart of the matter

WWE showed a teaser for WWE 24: Goldberg several months ago along with a few other episodes (which have released already). In the teaser, Goldberg talks about how for the first time in his career, it wasn't about him. You can see the teaser along with the other ones below:

WWE 24 always does a great job of capturing the emotions and telling a great story, so there is no doubt that WWE 24: Goldberg should be amazing.

What's next?

There's no word when Goldberg is going to return, but for now, it seems like he may take on the Undertaker's role of wrestling once a year if he does wrestle again. But from the way things stand, it seems like Goldberg is done with pro wrestling for a while.

Author's take

The Goldberg documentary should be amazing. He's openly stated that he underwent a lot of physical pain during his second WWE run, but he was doing it for his son. The documentary episode has the potential to be one of the best episodes of WWE 24 to date.
