From the WWE Rumour Mill: Another former Impact Wrestling superstar spotted at WWE Performance Center

Will this former Knockout join WWE's ranks next?
Will a former Knockout join WWE's ranks next?

What's the story?

Thank you to Wrestling Inc. for the heads up. As first reported by Squared Circle Sirens, yet another former Impact Wrestling superstar had a WWE tryout.

The Knockout whom we're referring to is none other than MJ Jenkins, whom you may remember from her stints in Shine and CZW too. She was a part of Impact Wrestling, for a brief period in 2017.

In case you didn't know...

WWE has been on a hiring spree of late, and several Impact Wrestling superstars and personnel have made their way to the company. Several others are supposedly coming over in due time, as well.

Some of them are EC3, who was spotted at the last Takeover event, and Rockstar Spud, who now goes by the name of Drake Maverick, and is the 205 Live General Manager.

It has been rumoured that key Impact Wrestling figure, Jeremy Borash may be making his way to WWE soon.

The heart of the matter

MJ Jenkins was never an integral figure in Impact Wrestling. Her most notable match was probably at the One Night Only pay-per-view where she lost to Rosemary.

What is notable about her tryout is that it was by invitation only. WWE probably sees a lot of potential in Jenkins, and we wonder if she will be used to bolster the Women's Division in NXT, possibly after the Iconic Duo and Ember Moon get called up.

What's next?

It will be interesting to see if MJ Jenkins does get shortlisted, from the many participants. If so, she's coming on board at a time when the Women's Division really is the focus of everything. She could have a promising and lucrative career with the company, in due time.

Author's take

I'll be honest. I don't really know a lot about Jenkins, but if WWE sees promise in her, I'm curious to see what she can do.

Best of luck to her!
