From the WWE Rumour Mill: Huge spoilers for tonight's Monday Night RAW, including two big returns

Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt could be back soon!
Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt could be back soon!

What's the story?

WWE might be fresh off of a set of releases with Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young parting ways with the company, but new rumours from PWInsider suggest that tonight's Monday Night Raw is going to be a stacked card with two big Raw stars returning to the show.

In case you didn't know...

Bray Wyatt has been out of action for several weeks, even missing the TLC pay-per-view, because of a viral illness that broke out backstage affecting several Raw Superstars. It's still unclear if Bray was actually ill, or just being quarantined, and whether or not it was mumps or meningitis.

Another top star who has been out for a week or so is Braun Strowman. This was to sell injuries suffered during the TLC pay-per-view main event when Strowman was trapped in the back of a trash compactor and crushed by his own teammates.

The heart of the matter

It's being reported that both Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman are expected to return on tonight's Monday Night Raw. If this is the case it's likely they'll be joining the returning Samoa Joe as well, leading to stacked Monday Night Raw. Here's what PWInsider had to say.

Bray Wyatt is backstage at Raw, so he is cleared to return to work. Braun Strowman is also backstage.

PWInsider also covered the speculation that had surfaced earlier today that SmackDown stars would be appearing on RAW again, stating that there were none backstage as of the time they released their report.

What's next?

If Strowman is indeed back for tonight's RAW it seems likely he'll be confronting Kane for the 'Big Red Machine's role in Strowman's compacting at TLC. Kane also spent most of last week's Raw calling out Strowman so a programme between the two is almost a given.

As for Wyatt, I'd guess that he'll look to continue his programme with Finn Balor and may continue to tease a 'Sister Abigail' appearance unless the WWE has decided to bail on the idea.

Author's take

Raw has definitely missed some star power of late and the return of Strowman, Wyatt and Samoa Joe will definitely help to make tonight's Raw more significant. We'll have to wait and see if they play a part in the Survivor Series build as well.
