From the WWE rumour mill: Identity of the fifth member of RAW Women's Survivor Series Team revealed?

Who will join Fox, Banks, Jax and Asuka?
Who will join Fox, Banks, Jax and Asuka?

What's the story?

Survivor Series is right around the corner, and it's the one time of the year when the two WWE brands collide. One of the featured matches pits five women from RAW against five women from SmackDown Live in a huge traditional Survivor Series elimination match.

While only four of the five women have been chosen for the RAW Women's Team, the fifth person is expected to be none other than everyone's favourite babyface herself, Bayley. This rumour comes to us from the Rumour Roundup section of Cageside Seats.

In case you didn't know...

This week on RAW, Sasha Banks and Bayley teamed up to take on Nia Jax and Alicia Fox in a huge winning effort. While the babyfaces won the match, Sasha was picked to be a part of the team but Bayley was not.

This left one slot open and the last member will be announced this week on RAW.

The heart of the matter

To determine the final spot on the team, there will be a massive triple threat match next week. Bayley squares off against Mickie James and Dana Brooke for the coveted spot. The report indicates that Bayley is likely to win and move on to the team.

There has been a reason for friction for Sasha Banks and Bayley, in the recent past. We wonder which one of them will turn on the other first.

What's next?

Bayley gets a chance to qualify and represent her brand, on one of the Big 4 pay-per-views, next week on RAW.

Bear in mind that she may have to look over her shoulder, as another invasion from the rival brand may take place, next week.

If the rumours are true, she moves on, to the big stage.

Author's take

I'd prefer it if Bayley does not make it to the team, and is bitter because of the same. Her character needs a reboot anyway. The crowd does not react to her in the same manner that they did when she made her debut. The only answer to this is that she needs to go heel, very soon indeed.
