Let's see what these two will do after so long...

What's the story?

Everyone loves a throwback because revisiting the past is often more pleasant than looking toward the future unless you're talking about WWE who has a bright future and an even richer past.

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were a huge part of WWE's announce team back in the day and this partnership earned them WWE Hall Of Fame status. Now it looks like these two legends could be reuniting for Raw's big 25th Anniversary Show according to Lawler's podcast Dinner With The King.

In case you didn't know...

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler both had huge careers before WWE but when those two were placed together it was magic.

Lawler and Ross' voices helped lay down the soundtrack for the Monday Night Ways and millions of people tuned in on a weekly basis to hear their banter and incredible talent in storytelling.

The heart of the matter

Jerry 'The King' Lawler recently opened up about the possibility of teaming up with his old broadcast partner on an episode of Dinner With The King where he gave a very positive prognosis about seeing those two Hall Of Famers on commentary once more.

"It's almost 99.9% certain that JR and I will be reuniting for the 25th Anniversary Raw show on January 22nd to do commentary. Probably the show will be broadcast from two different locations -- the Barclays Center and the Manhattan Center. That would make sense to me."

What's next?

The 25th Anniversary of Raw will be a huge night for WWE featuring as many big names from WWE's past and present as they can jam into one show. It is sure to be full of water-cooler moments that will leave people talking about it for a long time to come.

Author's take

This is going to be a great show and the possible addition of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler makes it even more exciting. Let's just hope WWE realizes how important they are and how they haven't skipped a beat so it could possibly open up more chances for this team in the years to come.
