What's the story?
People call WrestleMania the "Show Of Shows" for a reason. Every year WrestleMania becomes even more of a destination event bringing thousands of people into the host city in order to witness the best show WWE can theoretically book that year.
As time ticks down until the opening pyrotechnics for WrestleMania 34 rumours are starting to spread about who will get the honour of hosting the biggest show on WWE's calendar in 2019.
In case you didn't know...
WrestleMania has become a hot ticket item for not only fans but the city that hosts the event. This destination event brings thousands of fans and millions of dollars into the host city which is a shot in the arm of any local economy. Naturally, any city would love to host WrestleMania in theory which is why so many cities put in bids at this point to host the big show.
The heart of the matter
This should be taken as a rumour until anything official drops concerning the matter but TicketDrew on Twitter claims he has the name of the host city for WrestleMania 35.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio in July that St Louis, Philadelphia, and Minneapolis had all put in bids to host WrestleMania 35 and 36. But it would appear a different location might be winning out the battle for WrestleMania 35's host city.
The current names leading the pack according to the rumour mill are New York City, Philadelphia, and Detroit. However, an alleged "chatter" says that Detroit has already been chosen as the location for WrestleMania 35.
What's next?
No matter who hosts WrestleMania it will still be the biggest event WWE can put on in any given year. It is their Superbowl meets World Cup meets any other sports-related analogy you'd like to fit in here.
The host city for WrestleMania is also bound to bring in a ton of people and money to their host city. Detroit could certainly use the economic boost right now, but then again that rings true for just about any other city on the planet.

WrestleMania is always exciting whether you plan on attending in person or watching from home. There are a lot of places WWE hasn't considered for the Show Of Shows though. But Detroit would be a fine location if WWE landed on it. There's certainly enough unique location characteristics to make a WrestleMania in Detroit a very special experience for everyone involved.
