Raw is leaving no stones unturned to bring back the legends for its 25th anniversary

What's the story?

According to reports from CageSide Seats, WWE is reaching out to its former Legends and associates as the company heads towards the 25th anniversary of RAW.

The rumours suggest that WWE is planning to get video messages taped from these veterans who had once graced the ring. Not only the wrestler but also those who worked in other roles with the company for a long time are also being contacted for their take on this milestone.

In case you didn't know...

WWE RAW will celebrate its 25th anniversary on January 22, 2018. The event has been scheduled to emanate from Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Parts of the show are also being rumoured to be aired from Manhatten centre which is also the venue that hosted the first ever RAW.

The heart of the matter

WWE has had several legends come and go in its course of 25 years. It always led the company and is widely regarded as Vince McMahon's favourite.

In the past couple of weeks, several other rumours associated with RAW's silver jubilee celebration have also done rounds in the media. Some claim to bring back the former Champions back to the ring whereas others talk about their mere appearance.

However, it is certain that veterans like The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Mick Folley and Kevin Nash will appear alongside others in order to celebrate with the Red Brand.

What's next?

If these reports are to be believed, we will certainly see a number of pre-taped segments that will glorify the show and take the fans for a trip down the memory lane.

Author's take

The RAW will be successful in putting up an incredible show on their 25th anniversary if they can successfully combine the past and present of the company.

Together, they can come and build the future stars, ignite new feuds, settle old scores and most importantly, showcase why RAW is the greatest show of them all.
