From the WWE rumour mill: Reason why current champion missed weekend Live Events, Could miss RAW tonight

What's the story?

WWE RAW Women's Champion Nia Jax has been on a roll since winning the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34. Jax was conspicuously absent from this weekend's Live Events on WWE's European tour and PWInsider may have finally revealed the reason behind it.

In case you didn't know...

Even though the bullying storyline between Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss hasn't gone down too well, Jax has been in top form in 2018, winning her first RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34 after pinning Alexa Bliss following a Samoan Drop.

Jax is the top woman on RAW right now and she could defend her title once again at Money In The Bank against Alexa Bliss. Bliss has repeatedly accused Jax of bullying her since WrestleMania, despite, according to the storyline, she herself being the bully in question.

The heart of the matter

PWInsider is reporting that the reason behind Nia Jax's absence at the weekend's Live Events in Spain is because Jax is currently in New York. PWInsider added that Jax would probably appear on NBC Upfronts later today.

If Jax does appear on NBC Upfronts tonight, she won't be on RAW tonight which takes place across the pond in London, England.

What's next?

Jax could defend her RAW Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss at Money In The Bank. It looks like Jax may miss tonight's RAW due to the fact that she'll be in London.

As far as tonight's RAW is concerned, as previously mentioned, if Jax is in New York, there's no chance she'll be on RAW unless it's a pre-taped promo.
