What's the story?
According to a report from PW Insider, Braun Strowman might be Ronda Rousey's tag team partner in her speculated match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania.
This, however, will only come into effect if The Rock is not able to work Wrestlemania. If The Rock is able to get dates for WrestleMania, we will possibly get to watch the match teased at Wrestlemania 31.
In case you didn't know...
Ronda Rousey and The Rock had a segment with Triple H and Stephanie at WrestleMania 31 which saw Ronda Rousey throwing both Triple H and Stephanie out of the ring after the end of a verbal confrontation.
Ronda made her official WWE debut at the Royal Rumble event after the conclusion of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble and pointed at the WrestleMania signs indicating she will be having a match at the grand event.
It was being speculated earlier that there are plans of Rousey facing Flair for the Smackdown Women's Championship but it looks like WWE have decided to go towards a more star-studded route for her.
The heart of the matter
Braun would be the perfect choice to team with Ronda in a match against The Authority, given that WWE teased a feud between him and Triple H after the end of the 2017 Survivor Series match which saw Braun decimate Triple H and warning him to stay out of his way.
Since the issue was never taken up by Triple H after that, the angle felt incomplete and this would be a perfect way to build it for Wrestlemania.
What's next?
Wrestlemania takes place on 8th April 2018, so WWE have a lot of time to figure out the route they want to go.
Author's take
Braun would be the perfect choice to replace the Rock if WWE indeed go ahead with this match at Wrestlemania.
I, personally would rather have Ronda face Charlotte for the Smackdown Women's Championship and possibly Triple H vs Braun Strowman in a one-on-one match.
