The Club comment on a possible addition to the faction.

What's the story?

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson talked with the Daily Mirror recently about who they would like to have as a new member of The Club. Anderson gave an interesting answer as he named Sasha Banks.

In case you didn't know...

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have been with WWE since April 2016, but so far they have not lived up to their New Japan Pro Wrestling heights as The Bullet Club. Many fans were hoping they would stay with Aj Styles when they came to WWE, since they were together in Japan, but WWE only kept them together for a short time before the Brand Split and then they went their separate ways, with Anderson and Gallows staying on Monday Night Raw and Styles going to SmackDown Live.

WWE's poor booking of Gallows and Anderson as a tag team since the Draft has seen The Club look very weak, with them losing a lot more than they should be. Still, they have been Raw Tag Team Champions once, so better booking could see the two become a force again in the future.

Sasha Banks, on the other hand, is a four-time WWE Raw Women's Champion, and she is largely popular in the WWE Universe. Banks has created a lot of history in the past year, such as being the first Women's Superstar along with Charlotte to main event a PPV, doing so at last year's Hell in a Cell show for the Raw Women's Title.

The heart of the matter

When The Daily Mirror interviewed Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, they asked the two about who they would add as a new member of The Club if given the choice. Karl Anderson intriguingly responded by saying he would pick Sasha Banks, and that he thinks she would be a 'cool' manager for the duo.

Anderson teased the possibility of Finn Balor rejoining them, as Balor was the original leader of The Bullet Club in Japan before he arrived WWE. The trio had much success together before.

Also during the interview, Anderson and Gallows said they would like to be Tag Team Champs again in the future and they talked about their fun time in Japan.

What's next?

Gallows and Anderson are currently in no man's land on Raw, which is a pity, However, with The Shield seemingly reuniting soon, if WWE wanted to, they could build up The Club to a match with Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins. This would mean that they would need a new member, so we could be seeing an addition to "The Good Brothers" soon.

Sasha Banks is seemingly out of the Raw Women's Championship picture for the moment and is not really feuding with anyone for now. We could see her and the debuting Asuka go at it soon though. If not, who's to say WWE won't try something new with Sasha by putting her with The Club. It could be really awesome.

Finn Balor is likely to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at Survivor Series in November, and he is still currently feuding with Bray Wyatt (ugh!). Balor will almost certainly lose to Lesnar, but that could loss could be what provokes him to turn heel and join up with The Club again.

Author's take?

I think the Club definitely needs a new member, and I Sasha Banks would be a great addition. Sasha has stated many times before she would like to compete against male Superstars, so this could be a real possibility in the future if WWE wanted it to.

I would love to see Finn Balor reunite with The Club as well because I mean, who would not want to see them at their best to face The Shield? Sasha being in the group too would mean The Club would have a number's advantage over The Shield, which would help them play into their heel dynamic.
