#2 Money in the Bank

Booking was the star
Booking was the star

After the disappointment of Greatest Royal Rumble and Backlash, WWE presented fans with one of the best PPVs of the year. Money in the Bank was a great PPV with a few misses here and there.

The card included two MITB matches both for men and women. The last match of Styles vs Nakamura feud formed part of the card. Ronda Rousey challenged Nia Jax for the Raw Women Championship in her debut singles match.

Positives

The quality of two ladder matches was good as the sheer talent involved in them was immense. Rousey vs Jax was better than it has the right to ever be. Styles and Nakamura was not near their Japan match, but was still better than previous ones. Winners of both the ladder matches were fan favourites which gave this event a positive vibe to it.

Negatives

The biggest problem with this card was that Brock Lesnar was once again absent from the card. The Bryan match was a let down which ruined his comeback furthermore. Reigns vs Mahal match just felt out of left field, and the same can be said about the Lashley and Zayn match.

Grade: 7.5/10
