#2 Bobby Roode - Glorious DDT

Former WWE United States Champion
Former WWE United States Champion

Bobby Roode is a veteran of the wrestling world and has gone through a plethora of great finishers. The Payoff and Roode Bomb were both effective signature moves when he was in TNA.

They didn't cross over into his venture with WWE, he now uses a, dare we say, glorified DDT in which he lifts his opponents before driving their head into the mat. It's a lot more devastating than some of the other DDTs seen in WWE, but that's the problem.

A variation of the DDT is used by many stars in the roster as either a finisher or just a regular move. If a version of your finishing move is being used as a regular move by someone else, is it really that glorious?

#1 Dean Ambrose - Dirty Deeds

Current WWE Intercontinental Champion
Current WWE Intercontinental Champion

This is why it's so surprising that his finishing move is a DDT. Sure the move is a staple in the history of wrestling but you'd figure a guy like Dean Ambrose would have something a little more.

Dean Ambrose's persona over the duration of career is comparable to someone that is a bona fide wacko who would do anything to win. He developed his career in the hardcore scene being busted open on a nightly basis during his time with CZW.

It was a finisher used by legends such as Jake the Snake and Mick Foley, but still, taking a wrestling move as simple and ancient as dust and renaming it isn't that hardcore.
