How WWE should book AJ Styles

AJ Styles. A person who has achieved almost everything there is to achieve except the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The man is a two time IWGP Champion. A feat that only a few men have achieved. He has won the big ones in a number of organizations and hence has been called the undisputed king of the indie scene.

An international icon, a phenomenal sensation, an overachiever and a brilliant worker lost to a new comer in the business who is talentless in every aspect just because he is Vince McMahon’s “CHOSEN ONE”. Yes, WWE made one of the most accomplished and talented wrestlers in the world right now job to an untalented mountain of muscle. The bookings have been somewhat horrible since the past two pay-per-views.

And this is how he should be booked.

Brand Split can help Styles

With the Brand Split returning and each show will have its own big baby face, WWE should have Styles play that role on RAW. With rumors of Roman Reigns heading to SmackDown and a potential return of the World Heavyweight Championship, AJ Styles leading RAW with the Heavyweight title on his shoulder would be a delight for all the wrestling fans.

Sure, I would like to see him grab the WWE Championship, but I don’t really think its possible anytime soon since the recent history with him in the scene has been horrid. So yes, let AJ Styles lead RAW and do justice to the World Heavyweight Championship.

Bring in Balor Club, start the feud we all are waiting for

Make the faction as formidable as the original

With the most loved faction worldwide forming slowly in WWE, the fans are curious to see what role AJ will play in it. After last week’s Raw it is certain that he will probably be against it but the question is, when will the feud begin?

I would say, probably during the Brand Split. Doesn’t matter which brand, just make this feud happen. If WHC revived and AJ Styles gets it, then he can constantly feud with Finn Balor for it once he arrives to the big picture which will probably happen in July, since Balor is booked for NXT Events throughout the month of June.

Don’t make him job to midcarders and Roman Reigns.

This is the last person you want to watch job to untalented wrestlers like Roman Reigns. Is this how an worldwide icon is to be treated? And last week, fans finally lost their minds when AJ Styles had to cut a promo on how Reigns is better than him. A babyface appreciating another babyface, shouldn’t that be awesome, eh?

We learned the answer when fans loudly booed AJ Styles for saying those words. The Internet Wrestling Community was saddened and shattered. And as a matter of fact, Roman received more heat than ever because of their match at Extreme Rules. If WWE wants its “Chosen One” to be a successful babyface, then it needs to stop having icons job to him. Its a win-win for everybody that way.

The Phenomenal One has achieved everything a wrestler could possibly crave, except the WWE Championship. Give him that. He has made the ratings go sky-high and has been the best worker WWE could ask for. Fans have waited for years for him to come to the WWE.

Now that he is here, give him the career and achievements he deserves. Rather than making him job to untalented piles of muscles, have him reign the company for few years as its champion. He has never disappointed anyone, and probably never will.
