WWE legend Dave Bautista recently opened up about his body transformation and how he managed to lose a lot of weight. The former WWE Champion revealed that he had gained a lot of weight and had started feeling uncomfortable with that.

Dave Bautista revealed that his weight was 370 pounds and he had to do something about it. Eventually, he started training again and has now lost 130 pounds, as he revealed.

Per the WWE legend, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was the solution to his problem, which helped him shed weight, and he decided to continue this type of training until he got his brown belt. The Animal revealed that his trainer Jason Manly would do nothing but "grapple for hours." Once he started seeing the results, Bautista decided to continue with the regime.

He also talked about his previous weight and his weightloss journey.

"I am getting super trimmed; this is probably the lightest I've been since I was 19. The heaviest I have ever been is 370 lbs. When I started Deacon, I was about 325 lbs. Throughout most of my wrestling career, I was about 290 lbs. Now, I am around 240 lbs. A year and a half ago, for Knock at the Cabin, I weighed 315 lbs., and that is when the challenge of losing weight began. Now, I am very particular about my diet," Dave Bautista recently told Chris Van Vliet.

Dave Bautista says a WWE comeback is not an option for him

It has been a few years since Dave Bautista last competed in WWE. Even though he has announced his retirement, the return of The Rock and the farewell tour of John Cena could convince the former World Champion to return.

However, Bautista has come to terms with the fact that his wrestling career is over and doesn't want to ruin his ending from the company.

"I miss a crowd. I miss the energy of the crowd. I dream about walking out and hearing my entrance music, but I know if I do that, I will just tarnish my storybook ending. And I’m just not willing…" Bautista said.

That said, it appears that we will not see The Animal in a WWE ring ever again, and he will continue his acting career in Hollywood.
