Huge heel turn rumored for WWE Fastlane

Heel turn on the cards?

The blockbuster Fastlane main event between three babyfaces – Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose – the winner of which goes on to face Triple H at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE title, has all the makings of a classic Triple Threat, but it won’t be without its fair share of surprises.

With the fans still not fully buying into Roman Reigns as the next flagbearer of the company, WWE has thought of a way to put over the two-time champion.

According to reports from Cagesideseats, WWE is planning on turning Dean Ambrose heel at Fastlane with the sole purpose of benefiting Reigns. The Lunatic Fringe could turn on his ‘brother’ and kick-start the long-awaited heel phase for the Intercontinental Champion.

The Wyatts interfering and attacking all the involved stars – Brock Lesnar in particular – is something that every fan can see from a mile and this is where the speculated turn could happen. Ambrose could leave Reigns hanging or could vent his frustrations out on Reigns after losing the match.

It should be noted, all of this is probably being done to put the focus on Reigns and stop the fans from cheering for Ambrose, which would further hurt Reigns’s development.

As we reported earlier, Reigns was booked to be one of the final two competitors in the Royal Rumble match, but due to bad fan reaction, an audible was called mid-match to eliminate Reigns, and Ambrose took his place instead.
