What’s the story?

On this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Grado went after Joseph Park and abused Park for underpaying him even after overworking him.

However, Park instead offered Grado a contract to a match at the upcoming Bound For Glory PPV, which he signed. But the Scottish wrestler soon realised that he would have to go one-on-one against Monster Abyss and not Joseph Park.

In case you didn’t know…

Earlier this year, Grado made his return to the United States of America and asked Joseph Park's help in order to keep Grado in the US and to make sure that he doesn’t get deported.

Grado then revealed that he would have to marry an American citizen in order to stay in the US. The former IPW: UK All England Champion then tried to propose and marry Laurel Van Ness but failed to do so, only for Van Ness to eventually propose to Grado instead.

However, Van Ness then revealed that she is Canadian which led to Grado rejecting the proposal from Laurel.

The heart of the matter

In these past few recent weeks, Grado has been working tirelessly for Joseph Park so that he could get his visa work done, which would allow Grado to stay in America.

However, on this week’s Impact episode, Grado took on Park for underpaying him and demanded his visa from Park.

Park then went on to hand the former ICW World Champion a contract and challenge him to a match at Bound For Glory. The contract also read that if Grado managed to win the match then he would be allowed to stay in the US; but if he lost then he would be deported out of the country.

What’s next?

Grado has gotten himself into a very dangerous situation here because a Monsters Ball match against the Monster himself is not something a wrestler would wish for.

Author’s Take

Personally, I’m excited to see where this storyline eventually heads to. Grado in a hardcore match is not something fans get to see every day and I personally believe that this match will be really exciting to witness in the upcoming BFG event.
