Impact Wrestling News: Bram has been suspended by indie promotion for an inappropriate social media post

Bram has been suspended by a Japanese pro-wrestling promotion.

What’s the story?

Japanese professional wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling Noah has suspended Impact Wrestling mainstay Bram owing to an inappropriate post by the British wrestler on social media.

In case you didn’t know...

Bram (real name- Thomas Latimer) is a 14-year veteran of the pro-wrestling industry and is best known for his time with Impact Wrestling where he debuted as Bram back in 2014. He is a former King Of The Mountain Champion.

Latimer has also performed for the WWE’s developmental territories in the past, working a few NXT matches in 2012. The Englishman signed up for Japanese pro-wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling Noah’s Global Tag League in March of this year. Bram is also the ex-husband of Charlotte.

The heart of the matter

The 30-year old Impact Wrestling star recently posted a photograph of himself on Instagram that depicted him lying on top of a refrigerator product display at a convenience store. The photograph has reportedly received severe backlash from the fans, as a result of which Bram has taken down the post. Here’s a screenshot of it:

Bram can be seen lying on top of the refrigerator.

Bram has issued an apology to Pro Wrestling Noah stating:

"I am very sorry, I will take the decision of NOAH seriously and I apologise sincerely.”

What’s next?

Kazma Sakamoto will be replacing Bram at Pro Wrestling Noah’s Global Tag League. Fans can catch Bram in action on Impact Wrestling.

Noah’s Chairman Masayuki Uchida has deemed Bram’s actions as inappropriate and besides apologising to fans for the incident, has also promised that the company will introduce social media workshops for its employees in the days to come.

Author’s take

In my humble opinion, Bram isn’t really at fault here. I mean who’re we to judge how someone acts in their personal life, right? But with that being said, the folks over at Japan don’t seem to take too kindly to the Englishman’s social media antics.

Nevertheless, Bram’s fans needn’t fret as the man still has a home at Impact Wrestling.
