What's the story?
Lucha Underground's ring announcer Melissa Santos announced on Instagram that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Brian Cage. Check out her announcement below:
In case you didn't know...
Brian Cage was a part of the WWE developmental system in 2008 and 2009. He first used the moniker Brian Cage that he's known for in Lucha Underground, but then the WWE asked him to change his name to Kris Logan.
He formed a tag team with current Lucha Underground wrestler PJ Black (then known as Justin Gabriel), which captured the FCW Tag Team Championships on one occasion. Unfortunately, they lost those titles on the same night to the Rotundas (Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt).
The heart of the matter
Several of Santos' fans on Instagram posted their good wishes and congratulations to the couple. In just under an hour, the Instagram post had over 650 likes.
No further details were given on when the due date for the baby outside of sometime in 2018.
Melissa Santos has been a part of Lucha Underground since the company's inception. Cage has been with the company almost since the beginning as he made his television debut three months after the series started on the El Rey Network.
What's next?
Season three of Lucha Underground airs every Wednesday on the El Rey Network. Several reports suggest that season 4 has been commissioned and that tapings could start shortly.

I'm very happy for the couple. If you've ever seen Melissa broadcast live on Instagram with Brian, it's hard not to like them. It will be interesting to see if this affects Melissa's ability to announce season four or if she will have a temporary replacement.
