What's the story?

The world is still shaking from the aftermath of Sexy Star applying a shoot hold on Rosemary at AAA's recent Triplemania event in Mexico, injuring her. It seems like there's been a repeat of such behavior, this time from Cody Hall, son of WCW legend and nWo member, Scott Hall, a known as Razor Ramon. The controversy centers around Hall and independent pro wrestler, Vinnie Massaro. These are some highlights from Twitter.

In case you didn't know...

Cody Hall, a wrestler currently signed to Pro Wrestling Noah, is best known as a member of The Bullet Club. His father Scott Hall, in a legend in professional wrestling, both as Razor Ramon in WWE and as Scott Hall during the height of the Monday Night Wars, when he moved to WCW. Cody Hall signed to Pro Wrestling Noah in March 2017, after a two year run with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The heart of the matter

The Twitter battle began with Hall calling Massaro out for bailing on their big match.

Massaro would not take the insult lying down, and instantly shot with a retort of his own to Hall.

Massaro alluded to the Rosemary and Sexy Star altercation from the 25th edition of Triplemania that just concluded in Mexico City. Sexy Star applied a shoot or legitimate armbar to Rosemary, shocking the wrestling world and earning the ire of both wrestlers and fans alike.

What's next?

While this incident has not attained the same level of notoreity as the Rosemary-Sexy Star incident, we wonder if this will result in Cody Hall getting blacklisted by promoters.
