What’s the story?

Recently, former WWE superstar, Austin Aries refused to click a photo with a fan at the airport. When he got called out on Twitter, the former NXT star himself decided to respond to the fan-- via his official Twitter handle, by calling him a stalker and claiming the fan was rude.

In case you didn't know...

Austin Aries has started wrestling on the Independent scene ever since being released by the WWE, earlier in the year. The 39-year-old is an Impact/TNA Wrestling legend, where he won numerous championships including the Impact World Title.

He is also a former ROH Tag Team Champion and is the first ever two time Ring of Honor World Champion. Despite so many achievements to his name, Aries was not able to succeed in the WWE and was let go on July 7, 2017.

The former ROH star has stepped back into the squared circle and has been wrestling on various Indy promotions all around the globe.

The heart of the matter

Austin Aries was part of a recently concluded show for a promotion called World Series Wrestling in Australia. Following a successful show in Adelaide; Aries was blamed by a fan of his, on social media, who claimed that his group waited hours to get an autograph from the former WWE star but instead were abused by the 39-year-old himself.

However, Aries would respond to the fans via Twitter and would state that they stalked him at the airport and wanted to get some free pictures with the former TNA World Champion. Aries would also add to the fact that he thinks that this sort of behavior is rude and unfair to all the 'real fans'.

The Milwaukee native then urged all of his fans to not act entitled and claimed that if they are grateful enough then they will always hear the truth from Aries himself.

What's next?

Austin Aries is currently enjoying his time in time in the indies and has been wrestling for various promotions around the world.

"The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" has been facing off against the likes of Ricochet and has been achieving a lot of success in the world of wrestling.

Author's Take

Personally, I think every wrestler deserves their own space and privacy and same goes for Austin Aries, who I think has all the right in the world to get mad at these ungrateful fans who stalked him at the airport.
