Indy News: Ospreay vs Vader announced for August 12
What started in social media will end in the ring
The York Hall arena in London will see its next major bout that will take the social media by storm in the form of Will Ospreay vs Vader. Revolution Pro Wrestling just announced the event for its August 12th Uprising show in York Hall. This would be the perfect way to culminate this feud. The feud that started in social media will end inside the ring.
Recently, Will Ospreay squared off against Ricochet during NJPW Best of Super Juniors tournament. The match was an athletic fest and it was a delight to watch these two great athletes defy normal pro-wrestling norms. In what was a 20 min match filled with high spots at each and every minute, Richochet and Ospreay brought the usually quiet Japanese crowd to their feets.
But, as with anything new, several old veterans criticized the match for its lack of selling. Vader was foremost among them and he called the match as nothing but a memorized gymnastic routine. Soon, the feud between Vader and Ospreay went to the next level as Osperay ribbed Vader at each and every opportunity. he performed Vader bombs in most of his matches and his opponents didn’t sell the move.
Things came to a head recently when Ospreay dropped a pipebomb on his detractors and asked them to “get with the times.” This feud has been burgeoning for so long in the social media that Revolution Pro Wrestling has decided to take advantage of it by booking this controversial match.
