From the WWE rumour mill: 5 Injured WWE Superstars ready to return?

What's the story?

On the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that six injured WWE Superstars are ready to return to action. They include Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, Drew McIntyre, Big Cass and the Big Show.

In case you didn't know...

Samoa Joe has been out injured since early January when he picked up a foot injury during a match against Rhyno on RAW.

Jeff Hardy has been out since later 2017 after he underwent surgery to repair an injured shoulder. Hardy recently made a cameo on the Ultimate Deletion and was reportedly backstage at RAW recently.

Drew McIntyre reportedly suffered a torn bicep and has been out since early January. He was recently seen at the Performance Center.

Big Cass injured himself in a match against former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore in August 2017 with a torn ACL. He was also spotted training at the Performance Center and should be back soon.

Big Show underwent surgery in September 2017 because of a hip injury. He is also scheduled to return soon.

The heart of the matter

We're now just three days away from WrestleMania and with these five WWE Superstars said to be ready to return, it won't be surprising to see a couple of them make appearances in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale.

We can expect all five Superstars to make their returns soon after WrestleMania. As for Drew McIntyre, it will be interesting to see if he goes back to NXT or comes up to the main roster.

What's next?

WrestleMania 34 will take place in New Orleans this Sunday. We could see a couple of these Superstars in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale.

Author's take

Big Cass has had a long road back to recovery and it will be great to see him in action again. It's great to see that Big Show's hasn't been forced to retire because of his hip injury because he's in the best shape of his life right now.
