Injury keeping Roman Reigns out of action?

Roman Reigns won the main event of Fastlane to become the #1 contender for the WHC

Following his beating at the hands of Triple H on this week’s Monday Night RAW, the WWE claimed that Roman Reigns suffered a broken nose. It is assumed that this alleged injury is keeping the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship from appearing in the WWE’s Live Events, because he hasn’t been advertised for any of them.

The WWE have stated that Reigns underwent surgery for the injury and ostensibly, his recovery is keeping him away from their Live Events. The Big Dog is scheduled for next week’s RAW and SmackDown however.

This is what the WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann had to say about Reigns’ injury and surgery: “Roman underwent nasal reconstruction surgery, which consisted of a deviated septum that was fixed and realigned.”

“He also had a turbinate that was also fixed as well as a reduction of a nasal fracture Reigns will continue to undergo observation as he recuperates but a timetable for his return to action has not yet been discussed.”

Triple H confronted Reigns after he defeated Sheamus in the main event of RAW and after a back-and-forth, busted the latter open before Pedigreeing him on the steel steps. Reigns will face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32. Here’s a pic for Reigns after the “surgery”:
