What do you think of India and the fans tomorrow?

I’m so excited to be here in India. I got a lot of messages saying “hey, when is The Boss coming to India” and so now I’m here. I’m really looking forward to the show tomorrow and meeting all my fans because I know that they’re going to be loud.

You have a habit for making history – from main-eventing NXT TakeOver to Hell In A Cell with Charlotte. You and Alexa made history last night in the UAE with the first women’s match in the history of the country. How does it feel making history once again?

It’s incredible and it’s definitely one of the top highlights of my career because of how special it was and what it meant to wrestle there. That was truly breaking down doors last night, breaking down barriers and hopefully opening so many more doors for women in the UAE. Last year and two years ago, we weren’t allowed to wrestle and we would just have to sit and wave – from that to wrestling last night it was honestly a dream come true. And just to hear the reception – because I wasn’t sure how they were going to take us – but they were the loudest for the women last night and I’m very proud of that.

You’ve stated in the past that your ultimate goal is to main-event WrestleMania. After yesterday, what time frame do you see that happening in?

Well, WrestleMania is coming up in April, so that’s my timeline (laughs). But, if it doesn’t happen this year, I’ll keep pushing for it every year. Whether it’s April or May, I’ll keep pushing for it because that’s the goal. I’ve done so many ‘first time evers’ and that’s really the final stamp I want to leave on my time in the WWE. I truly think it’s going to happen soon.

What do you think of Paige and Absolution debuting on RAW?

I think they suck, just kidding, but they do (laughs). I think it’s really awesome to have more women come into the WWE. We needed something fresh and exciting. It sucks that they had to attack me but I am The Boss and I will get my revenge on them. It’s cool, I say bring on the competition and I like that we have more storylines for the RAW Women’s Championship. I’m excited to see where it goes, as a fan and a performer.

Asuka also made her debut on the main roster recently. What do you think about breaking her streak?

I think Asuka’s great but she’s definitely not the best. You’re looking at the best, you’re talking to the best and I can’t wait to face Asuka one on one and I will be the one to break her undefeated streak.

Alexa Bliss is the RAW Women’s Champion right now and you’ll be facing her tomorrow for the RAW Women’s Championship. What are your thoughts on winning back your title?

Hopefully I’ll win it back tomorrow night and make history again. When I do that, I’ll leave India as 5x RAW Women’s Champion.

What are your thoughts on a Four Horsewomen of WWE vs Four Horsewomen of MMA match happening?

I think anything is possible here in the WWE. I’ve heard rumours of Ronda Rousey coming here and they just signed Shayna so I say, bring it. But, they’re not us and they’ll never be us and they’re not wrestlers so good luck booboos. Actually, I know Brazilian jiu-jitsu and I’m really strong, so I think I can knock out Ronda Rousey in a heartbeat. Boom.

Staying on the Four Horsewomen, you guys helped usher in the WWE Women’s revolution. What are your thoughts on the women’s revolution and how it can progress to the next level?

We’re progressing every single week, I feel. We keep on breaking down doors and last night was so special having a women’s match in the UAE.

We also had a women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match and signed women from all over the world, including Kavita Devi – the first ever Indian woman in the WWE. Having things like that and her getting to perform in the Mae Young Classic – a competition where you get to see women from all over the world compete and show their strengths is really beautiful to see. Things like that prove to the world that women can do anything and we’ll keep on breaking down doors and reaching up the ladder and keep on reaching towards that goal.

With so many women on the main roster right now, do you envision a women’s Royal Rumble anytime soon?

Yes, I do actually and that’s coming up in January so we’ll see what happens.

Who were the women in WWE and outside of WWE who influenced you?

Well it was mostly the guys for me, Eddie Guerrero #1. As far as women are concerned, it was Manami Toyota and Japanese pro wrestling. She was the one who influenced me the most. Other than her, I also loved Molly Holly and Jacqueline. Getting to see Jaqueline getting inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame was really awesome.

What is your message to all your fans in India?

I’m so excited to see all you guys. You’ll get to see the best sports entertainment show in the world. You’ll get to see all your favourite WWE Superstars from RAW. You also get to see the ‘Legit Boss’ Sasha Banks as she makes her debut in India.
