Jade Cargill suffered a brutal backstage attack on SmackDown last week. WWE has since released a statement revealing that the 32-year-old has suffered multiple injuries.
As a result, Cargill has been removed from the upcoming Women's WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series. Fans have since been worried about the condition of the former AEW star. As it turns out, there is nothing to be worried about.
Multiple reports over the past week suggest that Cargill was legitimately injured. According to PWInsider, all such claims are "100% false." Jade Cargill's attack backstage was actually a storyline and nothing more.

Jade's tag team partner, Bianca Belair, has been trying to find the person behind this mystery attack. However, there has been little success. There is a high possibility that this injury angle potentially has huge implications moving forward. It could play a critical role on the Road to WrestleMania 41.
14-time WWE Women's Champion could be the one behind Jade Cargill's attack, according to Sam Roberts
Sam Roberts believes the mystery attacker could be none other than Charlotte Flair. The 14-time Women’s Champion has been out of action for nearly a year, recovering from an ACL injury.
During a recent episode of Notsam Wrestling, Roberts suggested that The Queen might have been watching Jade Cargill receive all the attention and hype. As a result, she could have decided to attack Cargill on WWE SmackDown to make a bold statement upon her return.
"I think that one of the questions that people are asking is, when is Charlotte Flair coming back? Because Charlotte Flair is a name that people go, 'Well, what if Charlotte Flair did this because she's been out watching Jade Cargill get all this publicity, all this hype, all this love. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair is sitting there going, 'Pardon my French, but what am I, yesterday's tomatoes?' That's what she would say. And I go, 'No, I hope not.' Charlotte Flair is an interesting option depending on when Charlotte Flair is returning," he said.
It remains to be seen how this storyline develops in the coming weeks.
