In a recent interview with Hannibal TV, former WWE star Jake Roberts – who was famous for bringing snakes into the ring – had some rather scathing words for his former colleague Lawrence Shreve aka Abdullah the Butcher, who he labelled as a ‘piece of sh*t’ – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.
When the interviewer asked Roberts for his opinion on Shreve, the former didn’t mince words and said: “I don’t respect that dude at all. Cutting yourself, and cutting someone else, bleeding on them and being sick and not telling people – you’re a piece of sh*t”
Roberts’ derogatory view of Shreve arises from a scandal the latter was caught in, which involved other wrestlers contracting hepatitis C due to sharing a blade with Shreve, who was also accused of cutting his colleagues without their knowledge.
Devon Nicholson, who contracted the disease due to Shreve, filed a lawsuit against the latter, which he won, resulting in $2.3 million in damages awarded to him by Shreve.
Fellow wrestler Eldrige Coleman aka Superstar Billy Graham called for his name to be removed from the WWE Hall of Fame due to Shreve’s presence on the rolls. Check out what he said here:
