What's the story?
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that Jason Jordan was backstage at Monday Night Raw last night when it took place from Long Island, New York. He's been out with a neck injury since February.
In case you didn't know...
On the July 17th episode of Monday Night Raw last year, it was revealed that Jordan was the son of Kurt Angle, thus ending the American Alpha tag team.
With Chad Gable, Jordan won the NXT Tag Team Championships and the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships once each.
The heart of the matter...
Jordan underwent neck surgery on February 6th and was last seen on WWE television the night before on Monday Night Raw when he cost Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins a chance to become the No.1 contender for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships.
After the unfortunate triceps injury to Dean Ambrose, it was Jordan who filled in as the tag team partner of Rollins.
They defeated The Bar for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship on the December 25th edition of Monday Night Raw last year.
Many wonder if they will reunite Jordan with Gable to reform American Alpha now that Gable was brought over to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup.
Raw General Manager Angle insisted that Gable was brought over to be a singles competitor, and that is what he's been so far since the Shakeup.
What's next?
There is a chance that Jordan could return to Monday Night Raw next week when the WWE travels overseas to the United Kingdom. Raw takes place from the 02 Arena in London, England, on May 14th.

There has been a lot of talk of Jordan's return being imminent, and it definitely looked like it was going to happen last night when Jinder Mahal attacked Gable after the match was over.
Many believed they would reunite American Alpha when Gable was moved.
I'm not on the same bandwagon as most that American Alpha needs to be put back together.
Jordan was getting some great heel heat when he started to turn after being Angle's son was not working as a babyface.
Gable can be on the level that Angle was as a singles competitor as well.
