Konnan on his podcast recently mentioned about WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross being in negotiations to announce for El Rey and AAA’s Lucha Underground promotion. He, however doesn’t know the specifics of the deal, if it will be a 3-man team involving Matt Striker and Vampiro or if the 3 announcers would be rotated.
It had been recently noted how Lucha was interested in hiring the legendary announcer after they began their new series soon. AAA too wants Ross to announce their English language PPV events.
