From the WWE Rumour Mill: Kane only back as a short-term thing?
Kane's return only expected to last around a month.
What's the story?
On October 16th, the Monday Night Raw saw Kane making his shocking return to the WWE by attacking Roman Reigns and aligning himself with The Miz, The Bar and Braun Strowman against The Shield, but reports from PWInsider suggest that he won't be here for long
In case you didn't know...
In the main event of Raw, Roman Reigns clashed with Braun Strowman inside a steel cage, with all hell eventually breaking loose. The Bar and the rest of The Shield interfered before being locked out of the arena by The Miz.
Kane then emerged inside the ring and demolished Roman Reigns, together with Braun Strowman.

The heart of the matter
Mike Johnson from PWInsider has revealed what the WWE's plans are for Kane going forward and he suggested that we wouldn't be seeing him on Monday Night Raw for too long as Kane's return is only a short-term thing.
Whilst Johnson stated that Kane's return has been in the works for a few months now, he also said that there wasn't much planned for the former World Champion. As a result, Kane would probably only be around for a month which means we'll have him for the TLC pay-per-view and roughly for around three weeks after that.
If this is to be believed, then it looks like Kane is only back to temporarily be involved in the programme with The Shield. Given the timeline we've been given from Johnson, it doesn't even look like he'll be at the WWE until Survivor Series, making TLC his only pay-per-view appearance.
Kane's return was a huge surprise, especially as Glenn Jacobs is running for mayor, so it's certainly not a surprise that his reprisal of The Big Red Machine is a temporary thing. I guess we'll just have to enjoy it while it lasts.
