Kevin Nash being considered for WWE HOF?

According to PWInsider.com Kevin Nash is one of the names that has at least been considered for this year's WWE Hall of Fame class. If true this would see him follow in the footsteps of his former Outsiders tag team partner Scott Hall, who was inducted last year.

Nash had a fairly uninspiring run in WCW before joining the then WWF in the mid 90s as the cool trucker Diesel. He quickly rose to prominence as Shawn Michaels' bodyguard and had a run on top as Champion. In 1996 he and Hall, who was then Razor Ramon, were offered big money contracts to jump ship to WCW where they helped kickstart a boom period in pro wrestling as the the "invading" Outsiders, and eventually the NWO.

There have been mixed feelings about Nash over the years but the fact remains, he was involved in one of the hottest storylines in pro wrestling history, and certainly deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Officially confirmed so far for this year's Hall of Fame is "Macho Man" Randy Savage (to be inducted by Hulk Hogan), Rikishi (to be inducted by his sons The Usos), and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the celebrity wing. Other names being considered include Ray "The Crippler" Stevens, and Larry Larry Zbyszko.

This year's Hall of Fame ceremony takes place from the SAP Center at San Jose, on March 28th, the night before Wrestlemania 31.
