Kevin Owens usually has people on the receiving end whenever he goes about his business, but this time the tables were turned on the wrestler, who was subject to a threat from a fan on social networking site Twitter – reports allwrestlingnews.com.
The fan, a John L Radney, tweeted a picture of Owens with one foot on a WWE belt, which had the American flag on it, and vented his anger to the wrestler – who he thought showed disrespect toward the flag by stomping on it – and warned him that he’ll pay, while also advising him to watch his back.
Owens, who is not one to be fazed by mere threats, tweeted back saying that he ‘Can’t wait’, which can be roughly translated into ‘take your shot’, for deliberate lack of a better word. Owens’ tweet was well received by his fans, who retweeted it more than 200 times, which shows who had the last laugh in this brief but amusing war of words.
That aside, many hope that Owens can get back to his best after the loss of his Intercontinental Championship to Zack Ryder at WrestleMania. Time will tell what happens next.
