It has been a while since Kevin Owens started using the Stunner as his finishing move. It was reported that WWE was trying to turn Owens into this generation's Stone Cold Steve Austin. Owens still uses the move and recently hit it on former Universal Champion Seth Rollins on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.
Former WWE Superstar TJ Perkins recently got into an exchange with The Rock, which ended with the latter saying that he hasn't heard of Perkins. The Rock also referred to Perkins as 'CJ'.
Owens took a jibe at Perkins later, when he responded to a user and referred to the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion as CJ Perkins. A fan chimed in, stating that Owens must've pinned Perkins with a Sunset Flip. Owens posted a response soon after and revealed that The Rock once suggested him to use the Sunset Flip as a finisher, and it worked great for him in the indies. Owens indicated that if the Stunner stops working, he will start using the Sunset Flip as his finisher.
I guarantee I won more matches with a Sunset Flip than anyone else on the planet because @TheRock suggested many years ago that I start using it on the indies and it worked great! If the Stunner stops working, people better get ready for the Sunset Flip revolution in WWE too. https://t.co/IC8yxP8X38

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
