#5 Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

This will be Damian Priest's first one-on-one match on the NXT TakeOver stage.

Finn Balor was scheduled to fight the Velveteen Dream on the April 22, 2020 edition of NXT. However, he was found laid out in the locker room by a mystery attacker. During a match that Balor had against Cameron Grimes, Damian Priest appeared and hit Finn Balor with his nightstick which cost him the match.

He then laid him out with a chair and hit him with his finishing move, The Reckoning, and revealed that it was he that attacked Finn Balor backstage a month ago.

This will likely be one of Damian Priest's best opportunities to demonstrate his in-ring skills against one of the greatest NXT stars of all time. While Damian Priest would definitely benefit from a victory over Finn Balor, Finn Balor is likely set to challenge WALTER for the NXT United Kingdom Championship when WALTER is able to travel overseas again.

Therefore, Finn Balor will likely get the victory to gain more momentum while Damian Priest will benefit from having a good performance against one of the best wrestlers in the world.
