Cage vs. Texano (Best of 5 Series for the Ultimate Opportunity) (Cage leads 2-1)
The match was a brilliant showcase of brute strength between the two powerhouses. Texano gained the early advantage when he took Cage down with a torture rack neck breaker. Cage fought back with a German suplex. Both men went up to the top rope, but the top turnbuckle loosened up. Texano took advantage of the situation and slammed Cage face first into the exposed steel post.
Cage started bleeding profusely due to the impact. Texano finished things off with a sit-out powerbomb on Cage for the pinfall, thus leveling the series 2-2.

Impressed by what he’d seen so far, Dario Cueto came out of his office and announced that the fifth match in the series would happen right now! And to make things better, it would be a no DQ, anything goes contest
Cage vs. Texano (Final match)
Texano kicked off the match by dominating over a blood-clad Cage. Cage put up a fight by flooring Texano with a spike DDT. He made his way to the top rope and Texano followed him. Texano nibbled on Cage’s wound and executed a hurricanerana from the top rope. Both men took the action to the outside and began exchanging blows.
A back and forth contest ensued as Cage first hit Texano with a suplex on the bleachers. Texano countered a fireman’s carry slam into spine buster on the outside on Cage. Texano inflicted more damage on Cage's wound by slamming his head into the steel ring post. The cut deepened when Cage’s head was smashed into the announce table.
Texano and Cage moved to the balcony of the temple and another epic spot followed. The believers were left stunned when Cage was shoved off the balcony right onto the floor. That wasn’t all as Texano leaped from the balcony straight onto Cage to send the fans into a frenzy. The wooden chairs came into the picture next as Texano sent Cage crashing into the three of them by ringside.
Texano got his beloved bull rope and began to whip the living hell out of Cage. Cage barely kicked out of a pinfall after Texano rolled him back into the ring. Texano then got him back him and executed a spine buster on the chair. Ouch! He went for a springboard senton, but missed and crashed into the steel chair as Cage ducked out of the way.
Cage grabbed a chair and smacked Texano in the head with it. Texano kicked out of Cage’s pinfall attempt. A brief exchange followed with Cage finding himself locked in a cross face at the end of it. Cage countered masterfully into a pinning predicament. Cage forced Texano to break the hold, who looked to go for a sit out powerbomb next. Cage reversed it into a discuss clothesline. Cage then gave Texano a taste of his own medicine by whipping him with the bull rope. He got him in the vertical suplex position and sent him crashing into the mat with a modified brainbuster.
Cage went for the pinfall and successfully got the three-count to win the series and the ‘Ultimate Opportunity’. What an epic match!
Result: Cage def. Texano to win the Best of Seven series
The mystery surrounding Cage’s gift was in the air after the match ended. Dario Cueto came out and congratulated Cage on his win and said that the gift is just too powerful and profound for the Believers to see and comprehend. Naturally, a chorus of boos echoed around the temple. Cage and Cueto made their way into the office.
In the office, Dario opened up the box lying on his table and Cage had a sneak peek of his gift. He didn’t look satisfied, but Dario argued with and said that it is a powerful present indeed. He called it 'The Gauntlet' or in simple terms an iron glove, which had the power of turning a man into a god. Cage found all of this stupid and rejected the gift. Cueto urged Cage to try it on once and then decide whether he wanted it or not.
Cage put the gloves on and some supernatural SFX followed! Electricity and thunder started passing through the glove! Holy S***! Did Cage just turn into Thanos? Cage then went on to pick Cueto up with just one arm. He ended the scene by telling Cueto he would keep the Gauntlet. Duh!
The show ended with Dario sitting back in his chair with an evil smile painted on his face. Here are the highlights of this week’s episodes:
