Sexy Star(c) vs Johnny Mundo(Gift Of The Gods Championship)
Striker mentions that this is the first time these two Lucha Underground originals are crossing paths.
The match starts off with some mat wrestling. Mundo then gives her a cheap poke to the eye, turning the match in his favour. The bout is turned to high-flying mode as the action rapidly picks up pace. Jack Evan and PJ Black (Justin Gabriel) attack Sexy Star when the referee gets taken out, laying her out with a double kick.
A backup referee comes but Sexy Star still manages to kickout. The duo superkick the referee Rich Knox as well, blaming him for costing them the match. Striker mentions that there are only 3 licensed referees.
As they are about to do further damage to Sexy Star, The Mack comes for the save. He gives Mundo a stunner, and despite Sexy Star hitting Mundo with a steel chair and the original referee Marty Elias recovering, Mundo still kicks out at 2/3 quarters.
The Mack goes outside to deal with Black and Evans. Mundo tries to finish her off with the "End Of The World" finisher but she moves out of the way. As he is about to hit her with the steel chair, the referee takes the it away. As he does that, Mundo takes out his brass knuckles from his tights, strikes Sexy Star with it, and wins the match.
Winner: And the new Gift Of Gods Champion, Johnny Mundo
