– Mickie James has had a great career with the WWE winning the WWE Women’s Championship 5 times and the Divas Championship on one occasion.
James, who debuted in 2005 in the WWE has been hinting on a possible return to the company. Mickie James who mysteriously left the WWE has not given any specific reason for her leaving the company. James spoke with James Moralde and John Canton on the TJR wrestling podcast and said that she would be open to a return.
On returning to the WWE
The Divas division presently has been in a crisis. There would be a massive fan frenzy if James actually manages to return to the WWE. She said that she thoroughly enjoyed her time with the company. She added that she would be open to the prospect of returning to the WWE, but revealed that it is not up to her to make that decision.
"I think the answer is always the same, but the ball isn't really in your court. I've been able to leave my mark there and I'm happy and grateful for that. Of course I would go back if they asked me."
On her ideal opponent in the WWE
James, who also performed in TNA, has had a music career as well. She spoke about wrestling and who her ideal opponent would be from the current Divas division.
She said that Sasha Banks would be the one and has a lot of respect for her. She also praised Charlotte and said that she has been performing very well. She added that she would love to work with Paige too.
She said, "I've said Sasha Banks on Twitter before because she's awesome. I think she's a star. She's got it! She can walk, she can talk, she can work...she's really good. I think Ashley Flair (Charlotte) - love her as a person and I think she's doing awesome - I'm so proud of her. I'd love to work with Paige...I think that would be fun."
