Mighty Mouse idea dropped for Neville?

- WWE have backed off on the idea of giving Adrian Neville a “Mighty Mouse” style gimmick, but the Wrestling Observer reports that Vince McMahon has wanted to use the concept even before Neville joined NXT.

While much has been made of the idea, it’s not believed he literally wants somebody to dress as the vintage cartoon character. Rather, it would be a kid-freindly underdog gimmick for a small wrestler.

Before Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo decided to do MMA, he was being considered for the role.

- The Observer also notes this week that WrestleMania XXX was WWE’s most sold DVD over the past 9 months, with 159,000 sales. This is followed by 104,000 sales of Slam City, 94,000 sales for The Ultimate Warrior Collection, 74,000 sales for The Best of Sting, and WCW’s Greatest PPV Matches did 53,000 sales.
