The Post-Extreme Rules episode of Raw treated the ardent fans of the company with one too many enticing moments and it is quite evident that Paul Heyman has made a difference ever since he was appointed as the Executive director of Raw.

This week's episode saw a mega match up as 10 of the most gifted athletes of either brand battled in an over the top Battle Royal to determine Brock Lesnar's next opponent for the coveted Universal Championship.

The Battle Royal was won by the former Universal Champion Seth Rollins, who eliminated Randy Orton to win the match and became the number 1 contender for the top prize on Raw.

While Seth Rollins is truly a wonderful performer, there is a certain Swiss Superman who too was involved in the Battle Royal match and it would've been quite a sight to witness him grab the chance of facing Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.

Here we list down 3 reasons why Cesaro should've won the Battle Royal on this week's episode of Raw:

#3 Beast vs Superman seems utterly fascinating

What could have been
What could have been

Brock Lesnar and Cesaro don't have much common between them! Where Brock Lesnar has predominantly featured in the main event, Cesaro has often found himself in the mid-card bouts.

The disparity is real and can be pointed by any WWE enthusiast but there is one startling similarity between them and that is how physical strength is key to their in-ring style.

Brock Lesnar earned the name 'Beast Incarnate' by displaying superhuman attributes which have helped him propel to the very top of this industry. The Beast Incarnate has manhandled even the giants of the sport, courtesy of his brute strength.

Cesaro, on the other hand, is famously known as the 'Swiss Superman' thanks to his display of immense strength on numerous occasions.

A Brock Lesnar-Cesaro feud will surely be fascinating for the WWE Universe as they will get the opportunity to witness The Beast Incarnate collide with the Swiss Superman for the very first time in what would have been a gigantic battle!

#2 Give Brock Lesnar a worthy opponent and let Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin continue their feud

Unfinished business?
Unfinished business?

Seth Rollins was involved in what can be termed as a heated feud with Baron Corbin prior to Brock Lesnar's return at WWE Extreme Rules. The two aforementioned men clashed on numerous occasions and their rivalry became all the more exciting when Seth Rollins' girlfriend Becky Lynch and Lacey Evans were involved in it.

Becky Lynch and Lacey Evans had been feuding ever since WrestleMania 35 culminated and the two were even involved in a Mixed Tag Match at Extreme Rules which had The Universal Championship and Raw Women's Championship at stake.

With Seth Rollins now set to face Brock Lesnar, it gives quite an abrupt end to his rivalry against Baron Corbin. Giving someone like Cesaro a shot at Brock Lesnar would've given Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin plenty of time to finish off their impressive rivalry.

#1 A long-awaited push for The Swiss Superman

Cesaro is undoubtedly one of the most talented in-ring performers of recent times and it is quite a disheartening mystery as to why he hasn't received a mega push till now. Cesaro is a gifted athlete who ticks every box to become an enormous star.

From his physical aura to his superhuman strength, the Swiss Superman has long been an underrated performer and it would've been extremely sensational had he received his long-awaited push by winning the Battle Royal on Raw.

Vince McMahon once said that Cesaro failed to grab the brass ring but that was a long time ago as the Swiss Superman went on to become an impressive Tag Team Champion alongside Sheamus. While mid-card success has been witnessed, it is that main-event push that remains missing from his CV.

An opportunity to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship would've been the perfect way to launch Cesaro to the top.
