This year's Men's Money in the Bank ladder match is stacked, but it also includes seven superstars who were once part of NXT. The Miz is the lone former winner in the match and the only star who didn't come through WWE's developmental brand.

Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe and Finn Balor are all former NXT Champions, whilst Braun Strowman and Rusev both made appearances for NXT when they first started their career. If the rumors are true and Big E is chosen to represent The New Day, then he is also a former NXT Champion, just the second in history since he was able to dethrone Seth Rollins back in 2013.

Six of the competitors in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match also came through the ranks in NXT, with Natalya and Naomi being the odd ones out. Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, and Charlotte are all former NXT Women's Champions, whilst Lana, Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss all started their WWE careers at Full Sail.
