#4. Just six participants in the Money in the Bank ladder match

This year's Money In The Bank pay-per-view has gone through a number of changes over the past few months and it's thought that the original plan could have been for the ladder match to have the usual eight competitors.

Since 2018, WWE has allowed eight stars to step into the contract ladder match, but this year there will be just three representatives from SmackDown and three from RAW. The women's first-ever ladder match had just five competitors since it was SmackDown exclusive, but the two years that have followed have seen eight women battle it out for a chance to lift the contract.

This year it will be Carmella, Dana Brooke, Daniel Bryan, Otis, King Corbin, and Lacey Evans representing SmackDown whilst Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, AJ Styles, Aleister Black, and Rey Mysterio will represent Monday Night RAW.

Carmella will have the chance to become the first-ever three-time winner since she was able to win the match twice back in 2017, with the help of James Ellsworth.
