Tony D'Angelo has come a long way since a couple of years ago and is now one of the most popular stars on the white and gold brand's roster. D'Angelo is also a main event player who challenged for the NXT Championship earlier this year.
Although he could not win the WWE NXT Championship, Tony D'Angelo captured the NXT Heritage Cup from No Quarter Catch Crew not long ago. A couple of weeks ago, Nathan Frazer, who is one-half of the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, showed interest in challenging for the title, and he was granted his match tonight.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker.
