30-year-old WWE Superstar finally returns after 298 days; Lana is excited and reacts

The May 20, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW marked the return of a WWE Superstar who had been missing for over nine months.

Sonya Deville was out of action due to a torn ACL and returned after 298 days during a backstage segment with Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler this week. The duo was preparing for a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match to earn a title shot at the Women's Tag Team Championship at the King and Queen of the Ring Tournament.

Notably, Sonya Deville tried talking to them but was brushed aside before she could speak. However, the 30-year-old instantly grabbed the attention of WWE’s former superstar, Lana.

CJ Perry welcomed Deville back to RAW after her long hiatus. The AEW star even complimented the superstar in her tweet on X.

“Yesssss !!!!! Congratulations @SonyaDevilleWWE on returning !!!! You are looking 🔥🔥🔥," she wrote.

Lana’s tweet responded to a post shared by the Stamford-based promotion showing Sonya Deville.

Shortly after, on RAW, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark won the number one contender match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

While Deville didn’t get a chance to reveal what she had on her mind, it would be interesting to see how the women's locker room adjusts to her return.
