32-year-old WWE star makes SmackDown in-ring return after 245 days

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Elektra Lopez made her WWE in-ring return in a Triple Threat match in the Women’s United States Title tournament. Her opponents tonight were Naomi and Tiffany Stratton.

The last time the Legado Del Fantasma member competed on the blue brand was also the first time that she competed on the blue brand. It was on April 5, the night before WrestleMania XL. She defeated Zelina Vega in a squash match.

On SmackDown this week, another qualifying match for the Women’s United States Championship took place. During the bout, Elektra Lopez hit Naomi with a few knee strikes and sent her to the floor. Tiffany Stratton nailed her with a double stomp and Naomi took out Ms. Money in the Bank with a crossbody off the top rope.

Naomi hit the two heels with a double stunner and wiped out Lopez at ringside. Stratton hit the former TNA Knockouts Champion with a double stomp on the apron and planted Lopez with a snap suplex. Elektra nailed Naomi with a modified Blue Thunderbomb and went for the cover but Tiffany made the save.

Naomi hit Elektra Lopez with the split-leg Moonsault but Tiffany Stratton hit a slingshot Swanton Bomb to break the cover. In the end, The Buff Barbie Doll hit Elektra Lopez with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and won the SmackDown match to qualify for the semi-final of the Women's US Title tournament.
