IYO SKY's WWE career has clearly elevated since she was aligned with Bayley as a part of the Damage CTRL faction. The star won the Women's Championship after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract and is now one of the top names in the women's roster.
While SKY has been a dominant force on the main roster, Michin (aka Mia Yim) has also been portrayed as a massive talent lately. The star challenged Nia Jax for the Women's Title in a Street Fight on the August 30 edition of SmackDown but ended up losing after Tiffany Stratton made an appearance.
Michin recently took to X/Twitter to post a throwback from SmackDown New Year's Revolution episode, where she challenged SKY for the Women's Championship but ended up losing. The 35-year-old stated that the match with the Genius of the Sky was one of her favorite matches, and SKY was one of her favorite opponents.
"One of my fav matches with one of my fav opponents @Iyo_SkyWWE," wrote Michin.

What does WWE have in store for IYO SKY?
Damage CTRL has been on the warpath against Pure Fusion Collection on RAW recently. The women's tag team division has been developing an intriguing storyline of the red brand, and a mega match between both trios could be made official in the future.
With Asuka out of action, IYO SKY has been concentrating on the tag team division. However, it won't be long before the former Women's Champion gets back on her singles run and possibly makes headlines with another massive win.
WWE's current plans for SKY seems uncertain as for now. However, with the incredible talent the star has proved to be, some massive things might be lined up for the former Women's Champion in the future. Time will tell what happens when IYO SKY heads back into the Women's Championship picture.
