For the past couple of months, The Final Testament has been targeting The New Day. During this time, they have been trying to drive a wedge between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Karrion Kross has also tried to recruit Woods into his own faction. However, he has been turned down each time, even though it comes at his own peril.
Last week on RAW, Xavier Woods' demeanor changed when Odyssey Jones came out to save The New Day. Woods looked surprised as if Kofi had not informed him of Jones. Tonight on RAW, Odyssey was set to make his debut on the brand. Ahead of the match, Kofi Kingston informed Woods that they would be accompanying him for his match, which seemed to have caught him off guard.
